The system provides 24 hour protection for leak detection using wi-fi sensors that are installed in areas where plumbing with running water is present such as under vanities, behind toilets, around washing machines, and under refrigerators with ice makers.
These sensors will send a signal if water comes in contact with the sensors to an automatic cut off control valve which is installed where the water comes into the house thus turning off the water so any continuous flooding is stopped and no further damage occurs.
The system can be connected into an existing home automation system or/and an alarm system and controlled and monitored by a mobile app.
Most insurance companies give up to a 30% discount on premiums if you have a qualified leak detection system installed in your home. Since it can be monitored remotely this is also great for a lake home or vacation home.
